kitsch collection

West Virginia artist and writer, Jim Koenig had been obsessed with the kitsch depiction of DaVinci’s Last Supper on any variety of surfaces—from plates, to fans, to wall hangings, puzzles, and coffee mugs. Not only did he collect all of these items, but he also spent a lot of time thinking about it! Since we also love a collection (the kitcshier, the better!) We asked if he could round up all his pieces and let us display them. At the end of the exhibition, we had a bingo night and gave his collection away, piece by piece, to raise money for our activities. Thanks, Jim!
