Events and Exhibitions
Since we opened in 2020—during the height of a pandemic—we have presented a variety of experiences, exhibitions, events, and episodes as the impulse hits us! While we prefer not to do intensive programming, we instead strive to stay open to the possibilities of collaboration which may, or may not involve art. Or sometimes involve art. Or always involve art. Or things disguised as art. Or art disguised as curiosities.
Locker Room gallery
Since our space is located in an old fire department, most events and activities take place in an old fire truck bay that we have turned into a white cube space. The permanent collection of art and curiosities is housed in what used to be the old locker room for the fire and rescue personnel. The urinal in the locker room is functional, and not a ready-made by Marcel Duchamp. Sorry, art joke.
