chip bag tarot
I don’t know which is weirder: collecting empty potato chip bags or making a tarot deck from said bags. But to me, the bags are like friends with their own individual personalities. I have been using tarot to investigate my wants and needs, to explore my emotions, and to help me make decisions when times are tough. Why not include my chip friends in these explorations?
How is the deck arranged?
I’ve chosen to model the Chip Bag Tarot Deck off of the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot, with its division between Major and Minor Arcana. The traditional archetypes of the Major Arcana are indicated below the image of the bag. The Minor Arcana are divided into 4 groups roughly corresponding to the traditional suits:
Blue Suit = Cups ; Red Suit = Wands ; Green Suit = Swords ; Yellow Suit = Pentacles/Coins
The number cards, and the court cards are also designated at the bottom of the card, under the bag image.
